Built on site by our own engineers for the long term care of collections, Vindonwestech’s heritage storage rooms & chambers provide dust free storage at a wide range of temperatures and humidities. They are particularly well suited to the storage of special collections, historic artefacts and vulnerable film-based media - including acetate film and nitrate film.

Precise control of temperature and relative humidity is crucial to the long term preservation and care of collections. Our unique floor mounted stainless steel ducting, situated beneath a perforated shelving system, allows maximum circulation of conditioned air to all parts of the collection in the storage chamber.
Datalogging and validation, essential to ensure accurate and repeatable performance, is available with all our secure, controlled environment storage.
Vindonwestech provides access to customer stored collections at any time. A dedicated acclimatisation room allows items to be brought in and out of non-ambient environments in a controlled and safe manner.
Our bar-coding and labelling system, refined over years of providing secure controlled environment storage for the pharmaceutical industry, builds a complete database of items stored and can be made accessible to clients remotely.
